Time to Build On

In May 2005 God blessed WLBC with a financial gift. We were approached by a professional financer on behalf of an anonymous donor wanting to give some money towards the church building and more specifically to begin completing downstairs, so that it could be used and open more opportunities for different activities to take place. After several meetings and consultations about what needed to be done a priority list was drawn up and the donors agreed to finance several key projects.

A new sound system. Up to this stage we have been renting the sound system.
Completion of the car park. This has given us approximately 6-8 car parks, 2 of which are for the disabled.
Downstairs. While we will not have enough finance to completely outfit downstairs, it will be at a stage where it will be usable. This will make a huge difference for us as we will be able to move out children's programme down there.

Future plans

Build on an overflow room which could potentially be used as a creche area.
Kit out 2 kitchens. One upstairs, one downstairs.
Finish decking.
Carpet and outfit offices.
