Mainly
Music is a pre-school programme. It's an exciting, fun time for
children and parents and caregivers as they explore music and movement
together in a way children can enjoy.
Small
Groups
All those who come to church at Whitby Lakeside are encouraged
to be part of a small group. The
ultimate aim of these small groups is to challenge and encourage
each one of us to a deeper relationship with Christ so that we become
more like Him and enjoy abundant life.
Community
Connections
The vision
of the Community Connections team is to make
connections between the community and the Church people. Mostly
this will be done through community events suitable for the wider
community to attend without feeling like they are attending 'church'.
Examples are events like: Party-by-the-lake, Annual golf tournament,
Youth Rave, Rugby watching nights, organised sports events etc.

Welcome
and Hospitality Team
Aiming to make all people feel welcome and accepted into
the life of the Church, the Welcome and Hospitality
team mission statement is to provide a welcoming atmosphere
for everyone attending church and to introduce newcomers into the
life of the church.

Our Worship team aims to lead
people to experience and be in the presence of the Lord, though
glorious praise and worship.
Community
Care in Action
Community Care in Action provides support
for the Whitby Community. This support includes "Manly Maintenance",
meals, emergency help, daytime and evening non-emergency help and
social visiting.
Prayer
Ministry
It has been exciting
to see the prayer ministry at WLBC take
off this year with people becoming more passionate about individual
and corporate prayer and taking responsibility for organizing prayer
events.
