Jesus said "My house will be a house of prayer for all nations" (Mark 11:17)

Whitby Lakeside Baptist Church places high value on the importance of prayer in the Christian's life and as a corporate body. The following opportunities for prayer are available and all prayer activity is treated with respect and in confidence.:
Saturdays 7.00am–8.00am
Sundays 9.30am–9.50am in the Senior Pastors office.
The opportunity is also there for individual prayer at the end of the church services with a trained Prayer Ministry team identified by name tags.
For those requiring prayer support generally, their requests can be put onto the 'E' Prayer chain. This opportunity may be accessed via the church office.
The Confidential Prayer Support Team (CPST) offers prayer support for those who have a particularly personal or sensitive issue of concern. This team, approved by the leadership, is contactable through the Church Office.
Whitby Lakeside Baptist Church also holds prayer meetings which are focussed to a specific range of topics. These 'FOCUS' Prayer Meetings are held at irregular intervals on Friday nights 7.30pm - 9.00pm and are advertised in the Newsletter several weeks out.
On occasions we hold larger prayer gatherings and 'drop in' events which are notified in advance via the church newsletter. |
