Small Groups
At WLBC, small
groups are seen as a key to providing spiritual, physical and emotional
support to each other. As the church continues to grow, belonging
to a group will become even more important. Being connected to a
small group, which is part of a larger group provides the 3 c's
- community, communication, connection.
Church history
and even modern renewal and mission movements often have shown the
importance of small groups in God's work. Howard Synder, in his
book "The Problem with Wine Skins", declares that "virtually
every major movement of spiritual renewal in the Christian church
has been accompanied by a return to a small group and the proliferation
of such groups in private homes for Bible study, prayer and discussion
of the faith".
