Power House

Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these. Matthew 19:14

So what's happening in Power House? We have from 18 - 27 children attending each Sunday. We sing songs, we play games, we learn our memory verses, we participate in dramas, we listen to bible stories using the projector and we have small group time to reinforce what we have learnt together.

We have covered a range of different subjects this year including "being friendly", learning the books of the bible and learning abour the armour of God. One of the activities that we have embarked on recently is making costumes for the armour series.

The younger children (3 - 5 years) make up a smaller group and after joining us for singing and games they have their own lessons complete with making and learning some awesome crafts, appropriate to their level.

During the school holidays we have a holiday programme running while our Church service is on. The children are able to watch videos, do some crafts or activity sheets during the holiday period.

We are blessed and thankful to have such a dedicated, hard working Power House team led by Liz. The children in our society are the future of the church and we need to teach them the word of God so as to guide and help them along lifes way.
